Kellee Goulbourne
Laboratory Technologist Kellee Goulbourne joined the staff at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital in June of 2009.
“The work environment is that of a casual and relaxed one where all the staff members are dedicated and provide a high-level of care to the animals,” she says.
Kellee’s pets include a Parrot named Kleo and two Lovebirds named Jade and Jazz. Her interests outside of work include traveling, socializing/networking, watching TV, and Fellowshipping.
Andrew Fraser
Andrew Fraser (not pictured) is the Stores Clerk for Animalcare Veterinary Hospital. He has been with us since September of 2010.
“The atmosphere of Animalcare reminds me of home,” he says. “The fact that you can count on anyone here to help and look out for you makes you really want to come to work.”
His pets include a dog named Aioki, two Budgerigars named Tony and Charm, and a cat named Sam. In his free time, Andrew likes to surf the Web, play video games, play tennis, and volunteer through the Rotary Club.
Veterinary Assistants and Kennel Assistants

Zachary Sloley
Veterinary Assistant Zachary has been on the staff at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital since 2001. “Working at this hospital lets me meet and interact with new people and makes me a more rounded person,” he says. He has a dog of his own and enjoys bathing and grooming pets as well as watching movies.
Ricardo Hylton
Senior Veterinary Assistant/Technician Ricardo has a Shih-Tzu/Poodle mix named Gucci and a Pitbull named Phoenix.
Warren Howard
Warren has been a Veterinary Assistant and performing maintenance at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital since 1992.
“I enjoy working at this hospital because I enjoy working with animals and the people employed here are nice,” he says. When not working, Warren likes playing cricket and motorbike riding.
Dale Walker
Senior Veterinary Assistant/Technician Dale joined the staff at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital in 1996. He says, “I like the infrastructure/setup of the hospital and I enjoy working with the veterinarians.”
Dale has a Mastiff/Great Dane mix named Twix. When not working, he likes to ride road bikes.
Deborah Ruth Johnson
Deborah Ruth has been an Office Assistant at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital since 1999. She says that she really enjoys being around the animals and helping with their care.
She has a mixed breed dog named Bruno. Deborah says that she likes to read when she has some free time.
Adrian Cameron
Senior Veterinary Assistant/Technician Adrian began his career in the animal care field here at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital in 2000. Asked about his work, he says, “I enjoy working here because I love interacting with the animals and I believe that animals have a better understanding of life than we humans do. I also like helping to create a better life and environment for animals and people.”
At home, Adrian has a Shih-Tzu/Poodle mix named Pepa, and two mixed-breed dogs named Tidia and Psycho. During his free time, he enjoys singing, football, sleeping and playing videogames.
Receptionists and Drivers

Michael Bennett
Driver and Bearer Michael joined the staff at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital in 1993.
When asked what he enjoys most about his work at the Hospital, Michael says, “I get exposure to meet many different personalities.”
He has a Rottweiler named Sally and a mixed breed named Links. During his free time, Michael likes to drive, watch movies, and go to parties.
Royland McHayle
Royland has been a driver with Animalcare Veterinary Hospital since July of 2008.
Asked what he likes most about his work, Royland simply says, “I like working with the animals.”
During his free time, he enjoys watching cricket and listening to the radio.
Kayan Henry-Campbell
Receptionist Kayan began her career in the animalcare field at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital in 2004. In addition to her work with the Hospital, she is also a Director in the Rottweiler Association of Jamaica.
“This hospital has been like my home for the past seven years and I consider each member as a family,” she says. “I have a newfound appreciation for animals and enjoy working with them. Also, I have acquired much knowledge of the veterinary medical field and for this I am very grateful.”
Kayan has a Shih-Tzu mix named Phoebe. “Most of my free time is spent looking after my two daughters,” she says. “However, where possible I write short stories and poems.”
Ricardo Hanson
Ricardo has been a Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital since August of 2000, but began his career in the animal care field in 1996.
Asked what he enjoys most about his work, Ricardo says, “It makes me a more rounded person.”
At home, he has a menagerie of pets that includes Pomeranians, Pekinese, Jack Russell Terriers, Yorkshire Terriers, Papillon, and Parrots as well as pocket pets such as rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, a snake, and a turtle. Ricardo likes to spend his free time taking care of his pets, meeting new people, going out to the movies, and writing.
Sarina Small
Sarina (not pictured) has been a Receptionist at Animalcare Veterinary Hospital since August of 2009.
“I like working at this veterinary hospital because it has a casual yet professional organizational climate,” she says of her work with the Hospital. “I feel proud to work here as I have learned that Animalcare Veterinary Hospital has grown to become one of the largest veterinary centers in Jamaica.”
Sarina has a cat named Sparta. Her hobbies include dancing, basketball, beach football, singing, exercising, listening to music, and playing pool.
Melissa Duncan
Melissa Duncan is a receptionist that has been with Animalcare Veterinary Hospital since September of 2010.
“I like working at this hospital because I am naturally friendly and very people-oriented,” she says, “so I enjoy building relationships with our clients, plus I also love animals; so I get the best of both worlds.”
Melissa has a Poodle named Monet and a mixed breed named Koko. She enjoys socializing, reading and baking.
